2024 SCOTTISH JAZZ VOCALIST OF THE YEAR

Niki King is an award winning artist whose work has received recognition for both her songwriting and performance. King’s accolades include; winner of the UK Perrier Jazz Vocalist Award, The Scottish Style Award, The Spirit Of Scotland Music Medal and the most recent 2024 Fionna Duncan Scottish Jazz Vocalist Award.

King has released six albums with her 2024 release The Everlasting Energy of Love hailed as “a cosmic masterpiece’ (List). As a live performer she has toured extensively around the world at renowned music venues and festivals including; The Blue Note (New York & Tokyo), Ronnie Scott’s, The Jazz Café (London), The Queens Hall (Edinburgh) The Royal Concert Hall (Glasgow) and Glastonbury.

Additional highlights include performing with The Average White Band and as opening special guest for jazz star Gregory Porter and music legend Al Green.
