Niki King

Niki King is an award winning singer, song-writer and producer.  King’s accolades include; winner of the 

UK Perrier Jazz Vocalist Award, The Scottish Style Award and The Spirit Of Scotland Music Medal.
 
King has released five studio albums and toured extensively around the world, performing at renowned music venues and festivals such as; The Blue Note (New York & Tokyo), Ronnie Scott’s, The Jazz Café (London), The Queens Hall (Edinburgh) The Edinburgh International Festival, The Royal Concert Hall (Glasgow) and Glastonbury.

Additional highlights include opening as a special guest for music legends Al Green, the Average White Band and jazz star Gregory Porter.  King has written and recorded with revered Incognito producer Bluey Maunick and worked alongside some of the world's leading jazz musicians.  When King relocated to New York she recorded her album  ‘It’s All Good’ with the cream of the city’s players who had collectively worked with Prince, Jay Z, The Skatalites and Michael Buble.  

During lockdown King would end up writing some of her most reflective and heartfelt songs to date, processing her personal journey through loss and grief while sharing a universal message of love, connection and the meaning of time.  Straight from the heart, for the soul. 

Currently King is in the studio recording this beautiful new body of work for her much anticipated sixth studio album, due for release in 2023.
